Il mio obiettivo per questo sito è presentare un elenco più completo possibile di modelli e varianti in miniatura di Matchbox. Le foto dei modelli sono, ovviamente, una parte fondamentale di tale elenco.
Ogni volta che è stato possibile, ho utilizzato foto della mia raccolta. La mia collezione non è neanche lontanamente ampia come quella di molti collezionisti, e ci sono molte varianti rare o insolite che non ho ancora e, davvero, potrei non vedere mai. Di conseguenza, e come è il caso comune con molti dei siti Web di Matchbox estesi, ho fatto affidamento su altre fonti per le immagini di molti dei modelli.
In tutti i casi attribuisco la foto alla sua fonte, che sia la mia raccolta (indicata come MBX-u) o altre. Sotto ogni foto c'è un campo di riferimento che mostra la fonte della foto. Di seguito è riportato un elenco di siti popolari (con URL cliccabili quando appropriato) e le fonti utilizzate più di frequente. Ci sono alcune immagini di origine incerta, che elenco come "ALTRE". E poiché la stessa foto viene spesso utilizzata su più siti Matchbox, a volte è difficile dire da dove proviene originariamente. Ho fatto del mio meglio per determinarlo, ma certamente ho sbagliato alcuni di loro. Quindi, se vedi delle foto che sai che non sono referenziate correttamente, inviami una nota con le informazioni corrette e le correggerò.
Sto ancora fotografando la mia collezione e, man mano che procede, sostituirò le foto di altre fonti con le mie. Farò lo stesso quando acquisisco nuovi modelli.

Per quanto riguarda il mio approccio alle mie foto, il mio obiettivo era mostrare i dettagli del modello nel modo più chiaro possibile. Troverai 2 visualizzazioni a livello di versione (anteriore / sinistra e posteriore / destra) e 2 visualizzazioni per ogni variazione (laterale / superiore e base). Ho cercato di mostrare le caratteristiche distintive tra versioni e variazioni (es. Diverse informazioni sulla base del modello).
